CineTools firmly believes in the value of culture and education, we deeply respect this profession. We believe in today’s professionals but also in the future professionals. That’s why we cooperate with students and Film schools by supporting initiatives and offering advantages in the supply of expendables they need for their projects. We are confident in the film industry and cooperate with different companies in the Cinema, TV, and Theatre field. Our perception is that together we are stronger. We will always contribute to a higher specialization in the audiovisual sector so that all productions, both local and international, will have access to the necessary tools to help them get the best results in their audiovisual projects.
CineTools is involved and cooperates with many different professional associations from the sector. We are an active agent in various organizations and associations such as ALÍA, APPA y AEC. But CineTools is also committed to our environment, our planet.. We recycle every material that comes our way both in our points of sale and warehouses. We use the most sustainable paper available, keep the energetic consume controlled, have reduced the use of plastics to a 60%, promote the use of a sustainable transportation means and, above all, we support and will keep on supporting any solidary actions. SCHOOLS

Founded in 1995, ECIB, The Barcelona Cinema School is the only institution that offers courses, diplomas, and masters in all existing disciplines: Fiction, Animation and Documentary. This enables students to get capacitation in the learning of all the cinematographic techniques they need to develop their creativity and discover their own vision as filmmakers, animators, and visual documentarists.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the field, the ESCAC (Catalan Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisual) has successfully achieved its foundational purposes: the research, education, and promotion of new talent, by using the methodology of “learning by doing”, the teamwork in common projects and the excellence of the professionals that studied at ESCAC. The aim of ESCAC in helping new talents breaking into the filming industry has been rewarded in the work of graduated students such as Juan Antonio Bayona, Javier Ruiz Caldera, Mar Coll, KikeMaíllo, Nely Reguera, Dani de la Orden, among others.

Ites is a private school for professional education located in the core of Barcelona. It counts with more than 30 years of experience dedicated to audiovisual teaching. All teachers in the school are professionals that split their time into form students and future professionals while they’re working in the film industry.
Ites offers a wide range of choices to become an audiovisual expert: from intermediate grade as video disc-jockey and sound engineer to the Superior grade as Lightning Electrician, Capture and image treatment, Superior grade in productions for Audiovisual and live shows, or the Superior grade for sound productions in film or live shows.

EMAV is one of the pioneer schools for Audiovisual in the country. It is a member of a group of institutions that belongs to the Education Board in Barcelona. Its main gold is the training of young students in the audiovisual sector. It’s calling is public, democratic, equally balanced and focused on learning based on “firsthand experience”. At EMAV we offer courses in cinema, multimedia, videogames, television, sound production and live shows. A wide range of choices as the result of our 50 years’ experience in the field. Our facilities and equipment offer the most advanced technology. Our board of teachers are in continuous training and open to any new challenges that might come in the social and audiovisual field.

With over 50 years of experience in the educational field, the TAI University School for Arts has consolidated itself as a pioneer and excellence center in the teaching and learning for Arts disciplines in Spain supported by a firm academic structure and an intense artistic productive activity.
TAI is the largest campus for arts in Spain. It offers all the specialization levels in its field: Integrated training for Official capacitation, professional Diplomas and expertise in Master studies designed by TAI or Public University standards.

The ECAM is a nonprofit Cultural Foundation which founding aim is to teach and offer training to the future generations of the audiovisual sector as well as to promote the cultural activities related to the industry.
Each year more than 300 active professional from Cinema, Television and Advertisement visit our facilities, school, sets and postproduction offices to share their knowledge with the new generation of professionals in the sector. The ECAM goes a little bit further in its goal to teach new professionals and be the starting point of the professional career for many of the most relevant names in the Spanish Film industry. It has extended the offer for post-grade studies by consolidating and adapting the contents to the industry needs.
It promotes the support of former students – one of its main values - by fostering the talent that came out of its classes as well as empowering the job opportunities of the ECAM community. Diplomas, Post-grade educational programs, Audiovisual literacy and continuous training are some of the degrees offered by the school. Always adapting ourselves with a practical approach to the needs of the market’s job opportunities and the industry in general.

We have almost a decade of experience training the best professionals and being one of the fastest-growing film schools in Spain. Currently, ECPV boasts an unprecedented victory at the academic level, as our students had the privilege of being part of one of NETFLIX's biggest successes to date, the movie "El Hoyo." In this film, which has swept the famous platform globally, both students and teachers participated, some even taking on roles as team leaders.
It is an honor for us to train the future creative minds of cinema each year, helping them achieve their dreams and enabling them to participate and solidify their careers in the productions within the industry.

SAE Barcelona is an internationally renowned educational institution, specialized in training professionals in music, audio, production, and advanced film. We offer programs designed for those passionate about the creative industry, covering everything from electronic and urban music production to sound engineering, audio design for media, and film production. Our official degree in music includes four specializations: Electronic Music Production, Urban Music Production, Audio Engineering, and Music Production. In advanced film, our programs cover all stages of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production, using state-of-the-art technology and innovative techniques to train complete and versatile filmmakers. We have cutting-edge facilities equipped with the latest technology in recording studios, music production, and filmmaking, providing students with the opportunity to work with professional equipment and cutting-edge software. Our faculty consists of industry professionals who bring their practical and up-to-date experience to the classroom.
ASSOCIATIONS

ALÍA- ALIANZA DE LA INDUSTRIA AUDIOVISUAL was founded in 2020 with the objective of representing in a faithful and objective way all the technical and service companies in the sector, with the aim of including all activities related to the process in an audiovisual production. ALIA created with the purpose of giving visibility to the technical and service aspects that contribute to the audiovisual industry in Spain towards the public and private institutions both in the country and internationally.
Since its creation, ALIA has promoted round tables in various national and international events with other associations from the sector, has organized presentations and panels regarding audiovisual technology and collaborated with institutions in training sessions for Film Madrid Forma, and The ICEX Who is Who handbook for the promotion of the audiovisual Spanish industry abroad presented at Cannes Film Festival.
To date, ALÍA is well known as the official speaker for all the technical industries belonging to the sector towards any governmental institution such as the Ministry of Culture, Finance or ICAA. We take active part in the realization of a prosperous future for our industry by putting our energy and efforts in starting initiatives such as the European Audiovisual Hub.

The Spanish DOP Association (AEC) is an organization created by professionals that promote the visual and plastic quality for the cinematographic and audiovisual industry. As an association in its core, the AEC main purpose is to watch out for the rights and interests of its associates as well as the artistic and technical excellence of their work in relation to the Film industry. The responsibility and the actions of the DOPs in AEC imply a long path that goes from pre-production when choosing the right camera and lenses to highlight a project to the very end of the post-production of the film. With their job and inputs, they enlighten the Director’s ideas about the film, no matter if it is a short or a long film, a documentary, or an Ad.

A nonprofit wide nation organization formed by professional technicians from the Film Industry, Series and Publicity sector. Altogether: Line producers, Head of productions, financial controllers, 1st Assistant Directors, Location Managers, Production assistants, Postproduction directors, Cam aux, etc.
APPA comes to life with the purpose of promoting, keep and protect the higher professional level in the different stages that are implied in an audiovisual production. It is ruled by a Code of ethics: encourage its associates to keep moving, remain active and be opened to keep on learning.
APA main goal is to create a community that is willing to work within a frame of integrity and responsibility, that is open for cooperation with other institutions, associations or forums that are related to the sector, whether they’re either national or international. It pursues the homogenization and promotion of improvements in the work methodology of audiovisual productions. It also works closely to make possible the exchange of experiences, to help working in the analysis of the problematics in the sector and the access to work tools. Promotes the concept of feeding a pool of ideas and information so that all professionals are in the loop of innovations, technologies, and legal advice.

Dones Visuals supports the women’s vision in the audiovisual field.
Gives a view free image of male’s vision, steps away from racism, gives a different perspective to enhance the wealth and diversity of the audiovisual world.
Dones Visuals was created in 2017. It was born from the need of transforming the audiovisual sector into something more balanced, fair, and powerful. Women in the film industry have faced situations where their talent and effort were not acknowledged or rewarded. The Action Plan for Visual Women was a project created with the objective of giving visibility to Women film directors and their work- To accompany them in their journey to develop projects and connect them with the audiovisual sector.
The outcome of all this work is the reflections and the experience coming out of different situations. Constant conversations have led to a blooming field in a female vision of our environment, from which we revisit our scenery and ourselves trying to remain equal, sustainable, and solidary.
Dones Visuals reunites more than 500 professional women from all the different audiovisual disciplines who are convinced that our film production cannot reach its higher quality unless we incorporate the look and practices of the women directors in all its diversity. With a Directory of more than 800 professional profiles we want to strengthen the network among directors, the industry and the agents that belong to the audiovisual sector. We understand the transformation as our own open space, with individual responsibilities as well as a collective agreement.

The Madrid Women Film Festival intends to give visibility to the women’s work and point of view regarding cinematographic/audiovisual creation by offering a program with a selection of international feature and documentary films done by women.
The IV edition has taken place in 19 different sites in Madrid. In addition, the festival has strengthened its presence in the Spanish territory with one online site, within the platform of independent and author’s film FILMIN, where the festival program has been shown. It has also been aired in one of the TV channels.
From October 27th till November 7th, in addition to the movie projections, a series of trainings activities and sessions, talks and debates from an integral focus on the sector have taken place. Women working as directors, scriptwriters, distributors, Dops, actresses, editors, sound engineers, locations managers, scripts, composers…. all of them, creators.
The Madrid Women Film Festival is an event promoted by women and men who want to give visibility to a very important and wide range of the population that sometimes encounters difficulties in reaching the public on equal terms.
