The lack of oils assures that there will be no residues or oil particles in your delicate equipment once the fluid has evaporated in the atmosphere.
It is soluble in water, but carefully made so that there are no water leaks in electronic devices nor robots... something that commonly occurs with other fluids that produce fog.
