MODULAR TIMECODE SLATE AND DISPLAY WITH FULL ACN INTEGRATION

The LockitSlate Take 2 (ACN-LS2) is a high-precision smart slate system featuring a unique design and advanced functionality. As the successor to the popular LockitSlate, both models are fully compatible. We have maintained the original construction and dimensions, ensuring that all existing accessories and custom faceplates can be used seamlessly with the new model.

Power is provided by 4 AA batteries, optimized for use with rechargeable NiMH cells, enabling a runtime of over 24 hours. External power is also supported via a USB-C connector. Additionally, the unit features enhanced moisture resistance thanks to specialized sealing around the LED display.

User-Friendly Interface: Features the same intuitive 3-button configuration found on the Lockit and NanoLockit.

Adaptive Brightness: New "Mixed" LED mode allows you to set a manual brightness baseline; the display then adapts dynamically to changing lighting conditions.

STANDALONE DISPLAY AS A FULLY FUNCTIONAL TIMECODE INTERFACE

With its revolutionary modular construction, the electronic section of the LockitSlate can be removed to serve as a compact, fully functional standalone display—perfect for documentary or desktop use. Housed in a bead-blasted, machined, and anodized aluminum body, it is built to withstand the most demanding production environments.

MIDI TIMECODE INTERFACE CAPABILITIES

The LockitSlate offers variable timecode offset to compensate for processing delays in digital cameras. When connected to a computer, it transforms into a high-precision MIDI timecode interface with LTC/MIDI conversion and a large LED TC display. This allows the ACN-LS2 to bridge the gap between multi-camera sync and Pro Tools workstations.

CUSTOMIZABLE SLATE STICKERS

Custom-printed or blank slate stickers are available upon request. CAD templates of the slate board are provided to facilitate bespoke designs.

HEAVY-DUTY HANDLE AND SUPPORT

The standard package includes a handle with a fold-out stand (LS-HG1) and a 3/8″ thread on the bottom for easy mounting.
