The URSA Heat Shield is a thermal protector designed to solve the problem of wireless transmitters overheating due to an actor's body heat. At the same time, it improves talent comfort by insulating them from the heat generated by the transmitter itself.

Its design consists of a low-profile pouch with a heat-reflective material face that is placed against the body, and an outer face made of breathable, non-rustle fabric. This construction prevents the transmitter from overheating and failing, and it protects the actor from direct contact with the hot device. The Heat Shield can be used inside any URSA Strap or on its own.
